More than just storage. As well as providing modern storage facilities, warehousing with GrainCorp offers the following benefits:

Concentrate on your harvest. Growers can concentrate on harvest and delay grain marketing decisions for as little as one day or for up to eight months, before selling at a time and price that suits.

Simple Grower Warehousing Agreements. A Grower Warehousing Agreement is all you need to warehouse grain with us. Agreements are available at any GrainCorp silo during harvest. The agreement outlines terms and conditions and provides all you need for Title Transfer.

Retain marketing options. Warehousing with GrainCorp gives growers the opportunity to trade with a multitude of customers. Buyers trade on stocks in, and a grower retains the right to outturn their GrainCorp warehouse stock at all times.

Convenient grain marketing. Selling grain warehoused by GrainCorp is easy and convenient. Once sold, grain is transferred to the buyer’s name using the Title Transfer form and grain receival dockets. Alternatively, transfer can be made online by assigning contract numbers to receival dockets.

Easy transport tracking. Grower Delivery Summaries provide delivery by site details, including customer and grade. Summaries can be faxed daily from GrainCorp or accessed online.

Delayed Storage Fees. There are no up-front fees for GrainCorp warehousing. Storage and handling fees are payable when grain is sold, with the buyer paying receival and outturn fees on the grower’s behalf. Competitive monthly storage fees apply after a predetermined date and are payable by the grower for the duration of the storage.

Commodity Receipts. On delivery, GrainCorp provides two Receival Dockets per truckload, stating net delivery weight and grain classification; one for the driver and one for the grower. Each receival number is unique, allowing easy tracking. Receivals can be traded to a pre-determined contract, or on-sold with the assurance that grain will be outturned to the grade specified.

Risk Management at its best. By warehousing grain with GrainCorp, growers are relieved of storage and quality management risks. GrainCorp accepts all grain storage risks and honours confirmed quality claims on product delivered from our storages to the marketplace.

Quality accredited. GrainCorp is ISO 9002 accredited, ensuring that best practice standards are applied. ISO 9002 accreditation helps GrainCorp to professionally manage pesticide declarations and chemical statutory declarations.
