About the Trakk Verification Tool
The Trakk Verification Tool is a digital solution designed to authenticate electronic documents by validating their origin, integrity, and authenticity. It provides real-time assurance that documents remain unaltered and are issued by verified organisations. The tool is powered by Komgo, a leading provider of software development and technology services. For further information, please visit www.komgo.io.
What types of documents can be verified?
Any financial documents issued by the International Trade Execution Team that display the Trakk QR Code and the “Secured Document” banner can be verified. Currently, this verification tool is used exclusively by this team within GrainCorp and applies to financial documents issued across the GrainCorp Group, including Saxon.
How does the verification process work?
Users drag‑and‑drop a document into the verification widget. The system automatically analyzes embedded verification data and cross-checks it against a secure registry. This process confirms the document’s authenticity, as well as key details such as the registration timestamp and the originating party.
Security & Privacy
The tool uses encryption, secure digital signatures, and controlled access to ensure documents and user data remain protected throughout registration and verification processes.
Understanding Verification Results
What does a positive verification mean?
A positive verification indicates that the document is authentic, registered within the system, and matches the original version.
What does a negative verification mean?
A negative verification means the system could not match the document to a registered record. This may indicate:
- The document has been altered
- The document was never registered
- It originates from an unverified source
What should I do if I receive a negative verification?
Do not proceed with any payments until the document has been fully verified via Trakk. Do not engage with the original sending email. Instead, please send an email to trakk@graincorp.com.au directly with the invoice attached for further investigation.
