- Harvest activity is beginning to wrap up across Queensland, with predominately wheat and chickpeas remaining in southern areas. The Goondiwindi district saw hot and dry conditions last week which allowed for significant progress to be made with harvest.
- Northern NSW growers benefited from predominately dry conditions last week, with good progress made across all regions and deliveries of canola, barley, chickpeas and wheat coming through the gates.
- Harvest activity in southern NSW shows strong quality, and clear weather has seen an increase in activity, with predominantly canola and wheat being delivered across the region. We expect harvest activity to build in southern areas in the week ahead.
- In Victoria, several sites began taking deliveries last week, however some weather events slowed the initial start. Weather is looking mostly clear over the coming week which should see increased activity across the region. Canola and barley quality is looking good.
- GrainCorp encourages growers to stay in regular contact with their local Site Managers for the latest information regarding operating hours and segregations.
