COMMENTARY:
- Rain and storm events resulted in slower movements throughout NSW this week, particularly at southern-most sites, though harvest activity is expected to continue for another few weeks.
- Victorian sites progressing well, with growers still delivering in the Wimmera and north east regions.
- Geelong port, in Victoria, operating a strong receival and outload program, reaching the mark of 500,000 tonnes of grain exported for the 2021/2022 harvest season last week.
- Some sites open by appointment only now – growers are encouraged to communicate with local site and area managers regarding opening hours, deliveries, and segregations.
