- The outlook for summer cropping in southern Queensland and northern NSW remains highly favourable, with sorghum crops in excellent condition after receiving further rainfall across the regions.
- While some growers in northern NSW are still making deliveries, including in the Werris Creek area, the primary areas of receival activity have now shifted to southern NSW – particularly the Cunningar, Junee, Temora and Boree Creek regions – and across much of Victoria.
- Several weeks of wet weather in southern NSW and Victoria has delayed receival activity. However, recent drier conditions and warmer temperatures have enabled growers to regain momentum over the past week. This progress is expected to extend into the festive period, with favourable harvest conditions anticipated to support the successful completion of the season.
- GrainCorp’s network remains highly active, with over 190,000 tonnes of grain outloaded last week as part of a strong and ongoing outload program.
- GrainCorp encourages growers to stay in regular contact with their local Site Managers for the latest information regarding operating hours and segregation requirements at their local sites.
