Commentary:

  • Growers across NSW continue to deliver winter crops in both the north and south of the state, including in the Werris Creek, Boree Creek, Cunningar, Temora and Junee regions. While recent weeks have been affected by challenging weather conditions, receivals have continued where possible, with deliveries in some areas expected to continue through the Christmas break.
  • In Victoria, harvest momentum has continued over the past week, with strong receivals recorded across Central Victoria, the Southern Mallee and the Wimmera regions. Following a later and more variable start to harvest, conditions have improved in recent weeks, allowing growers to progress where paddocks permit. Harvest activity is expected to extend into January 2026, particularly as ongoing rain interruptions, including over the weekend, continue to impact harvest timing.
  • Across both states, GrainCorp teams remain focused on safely managing receivals and supporting growers through variable conditions. With harvest activity continuing in some regions over the Christmas period, GrainCorp encourages growers to stay in regular contact with their local Site Managers for the latest information on site opening hours, deliveries and segregations.
  • The GrainCorp team thanks growers and customers for their support throughout the season, and acknowledges the efforts of growers, transport operators and site staff working through the break. We wish growers, their families and communities a safe and happy Christmas and New Year.
