Commentary:

  • Harvest activity is now effectively complete in NSW, although some sites will continue to receive late crops with growers continuing deliveries in the Cunningar, Temora and Junee regions.
  • In Victoria, harvest momentum continued through the festive season, with strong receivals across the state. Activity is expected to extend for the next couple of weeks, reflecting the later and more variable start to the season. Receivals are now largely coming in across the Central Victoria, Southern Mallee, Wimmera and Western Districts, with GrainCorp’s site at Carpolac reaching a receivals record.
  • Many sites are now operating on an appointment-only basis. Growers are encouraged to stay in regular contact with their local Site Managers for the latest information on opening hours, deliveries and segregations.
  • GrainCorp extends its sincere thanks to growers, contractors, employees and regional communities for your commitment and support this harvest.
